Saltaire is the Industrial Village developed by Sir Titus Salt in the 19th Century and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Salt was an extraordinary man with vision, motivation and compassion. His idea to set up not just a mill but a whole village was a massive task and proved to be a marvellous achievement. He built houses, shops, schools, hospital, recreation hall, canteen and a park, all for the health and well being of his workers and tenants.

Let us guide you around the village so you can hear and see how it was developed and learn how it became the commercial enterprise it is today, whilst still retaining the stature and beauty of its origins.
